Tr8er is a private trading desk for invited users. This page explains what the app stores and why.

What we store

• Account: your username and a salted password hash.
• Broker connection: when you connect with Alpaca, the access token Alpaca issues to Tr8er (or, for older logins, the Alpaca API keys you entered), encrypted at rest and used only to read your account, fetch market data and place orders at your direction. Disconnect any time in Settings or in Alpaca's Connected Apps.
• Trading data: positions, proposals, orders, fills, watchlist, alerts, debates and notes in your own per-user ledger.
• Notifications: your iPhone push token and, if you link it, your Telegram chat id, so the app can alert you.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of data.
• No analytics SDKs in the iPhone app.

Service providers

Market data and order routing go through Alpaca using your connection. News and filings come from Alpaca, Finnhub and the RSS feeds you choose. AI research sends ticker data and headlines, never your keys or credentials, to Anthropic. Push alerts go through Apple; optional chat alerts go through Telegram.

Retention and deletion

Your ledger stays until you ask us to delete it. Email alex@valhalla8.com to delete your account and data, or disconnect Alpaca in Settings at any time.
